Stages of the Player Path: onboarding, first steps, basic strategy, and developing understanding

What you'll learn on the Player Path

Exploits against the main opponent types

Learn to play against amateurs, nitty players, and weak regulars.

Preflop

Work through the key decisions before the flop: opening hands, big-blind defence, isolations, and play against the raiser.

Postflop

Master the core strategies in the main game situations: RvBB/BBvR, RvCC/CCvR, 3-bet pots, multiway, and BvB.

Working in poker software

Get hands-on practice with the main tools: Hand2Note, HRC, Flopzilla, solvers, and calculators.

Heads-up play

Cover the preflop and postflop fundamentals in heads-up and build the right playing ranges.

Independent Chip Model (ICM)

An ICM workshop: work through the specifics of freezeouts, PKO, mystery bounty, and SpaceKO tournaments.

Deep-stack and short-stack play

Key strategies for different stack sizes: the main field patterns, push-fold, exploits, and trainers to lock it in.

Game-stats analytics

Regular review of the hands you've played, recommendations on optimal frequencies, and extra courses to fix your weak spots.

The Player Path program was created by Ivan Mylerika with the support of Ilya Legenden and the best methodologists

Together they designed the whole Player Path so that learning goes from simple to complex: first you master the basics, then you move on to the finer strategies, lock everything in through practice, and always get feedback from the coaches.

Community

In poker, as in anything, the most valuable thing is finding your people. People who understand your goals, share your interest in the game, and are ready to support you along the way.

We've built the biggest and friendliest community of players: here you can discuss hands together, joke around, learn, and share your progress.

Mental support

We work systematically not only on strategy but also on the psychology of the game. Dedicated mental coaches help you cope with tilt, keep your focus and motivation, and build useful habits. It's ongoing work built into the program: step by step it makes you more resilient and stronger over the long run.

Student reviews

What I liked most is that the training is systematic — I became more confident in my decisions and started seeing the game more broadly. For me personally, the work on ranges and BB situations was useful. I stopped playing chaotically.

The material is presented step by step and through practice — it's especially handy that typical mistakes are broken down and you immediately see how to apply the knowledge in play. What stood out about the coach's work is that he always pointed exactly at the root mistakes, not at everything at once.

The atmosphere in the project is friendly and supportive — chatting with the guys is a blast, and you can feel the team spirit and support

Playing poker since July 2024. Hobbies: video games, drone filming, travel, programming.

Studying in the project turned out to be a real pleasure! I really liked the structure — you go step by step, from simple to complex, and you feel the knowledge coming together into a whole picture.

The coach ran a lot of training sessions on request, explaining everything with humor and attention to detail. The «FreebetRange» trainers and working in «HRC» were especially useful — it really boosted my understanding.

At first it was a little unusual, but gradually the atmosphere in the group became homey and cozy, and now I feel like part of a big team.

And overall — I'm proud of myself! My game has come to look respectable, with good results and confidence at the table

I'm glad that I started to feel confident in my decisions and now play more consistently. I immediately remembered one of the most useful sessions (for me personally) — the Flopzilla training. I especially liked the combo: video → test → practical task. It helped me dive into the material gradually, confidently, and clearly.

The group had a great atmosphere: the guys are active, and we often reviewed hands even without the coach.

It's cool that the project has a mental course and a care department — beyond poker I'm growing psychologically, as a person.

Thank you, FunFarm, for your professionalism. And for giving me the chance to change my life

Playing poker since April 2007. Hobbies: fishing.

What was especially valuable for me is that I had to rebuild my whole game and learn to apply knowledge in practice. I liked that the course is built with useful inserts and extra topics — there's room for creativity, you could say, even within a precisely tuned system. It's nice when you have both freedom of movement and structure.

After finishing the course I realized my game has become more structured. I started adjusting better to opponents — that's very important at the stakes I play.

Special thanks to my coach: he always pointed out where the problem areas were and how to fix them as fast as possible

Playing poker since February 2009. Hobbies: sailing, fitness.

I'm genuinely glad I joined the project. The material is presented short and to the point: you finish a block and can already use it at the table, and if something slips your mind it's easy to go back and refresh.

The tasks and electives are my favorite format: they're not just «for show» but really open up the topic and give you the very insights you come for. Special thanks to the coach for the hand reviews — clear, kind, and on point, no fluff. After the course I make decisions noticeably calmer and more deliberately, I think more about my lines and build my strategy more confidently.

Thank you to the fund and the whole team — learning in such an atmosphere isn't just useful, it's truly enjoyable

Playing poker since August 2009. Hobbies: basketball, swimming.

The atmosphere in the project is great: strong support, friendly discussions, and a sense of unity with the team. The course flew by, and the main thing I gained is a strong mindset. I learned to calmly evaluate EV decisions and not stress about the short-term result.

I remember the elective videos with hand reviews in H2N — especially on RvBB and RvCC. The most useful were the trainings on those spots and the math section — they completely changed my thinking and my approach to postflop.

What stood out about the coach is that he devoted attention to one-on-one calls and reviews of my game, which advanced my strategy a lot

FAQ

Yes. Training in the fund takes place online. Trainings are held as calls, you enter the poker room by clicking a desktop shortcut, you study the poker software online, and support and reviews happen in a private Discord community. To study and play, all you need is a stable internet connection and access to a PC running Windows.
Yes. The «Player Path» is built so it can be combined with work or family matters. The program consists of 15 levels. Each one requires both studying theory and mandatory playing practice. We recommend setting aside at least 1–2 hours a day for theory and reserving 3–4 days a week for playing sessions — 4 to 8 hours each. Even with limited time you can complete the program if you consistently give attention to both study and play. Your mentors will help you distribute the load correctly and advise you on how to combine learning with important matters.
No. Professional players don't do that. A phone can be a supporting tool for watching learning materials or chatting in the community, but playing sessions must take place only on a PC or laptop. This is a standard of discipline — without it there will be no growth in the profession. You'll understand this from the first days of our cooperation.
You do! To start your career we recommend registering in at least 3 poker rooms. The more rooms you have, the better, because you'll be able to choose the most profitable tournaments on each of the sites. Important: each room allows only one account per player. You can't create several profiles in one room — that violates the rules and can lead to a ban.
To get our communication started, you'll need Discord. There you can chat with mentors and take part in webinars and reviews. As we work further, our coaches and analytics department will give you access to advanced poker software.
The exact timeframe is individual — it's important not only to put in the volume but also to confirm your level with discipline and results. Moving up to the second league usually takes 8 to 12 months if you follow the coaches' recommendations, study regularly, and put in the required volume.
No investment is required from you. The fund gives you money to play with right away and takes on all the risks itself. Profit is split 50/50: you get half, the fund gets half. You'll also have an «infinite bankroll» and a selection system that guarantees the right choice of stakes and tournaments.
