90-year-old Perry Green finishes sixth in the $1500 Omaha Hi-Lo Eight or Better at the WSOP
Three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Perry Green took sixth place in the $1500 Omaha Hi-Lo Eight or Better tournament at the 2026 WSOP. The 90-year-old player busted after losing a hand to the eventual champion Jason Daly, earning $30,973. Green reached a final table for the first time since 2015, when he finished eighth in the Super Seniors Event. The three-time champion has no intention of stopping there and plans to enter the $1500 Mixed Omaha, which starts on June 1.
"My participation in the WSOP is more about nostalgia than anything else. The players now are very strong, all of them technically sharp. I, on the other hand, play more on intuition.
Can I win another bracelet? I doubt I still have the drive for it. But as long as I can make it from my room to the casino, I'll play in some events," Green told Poker.org.
Jason Daly, who knocked Green out, later battled for several hours heads-up against three-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Dorian Rios. The players traded the lead back and forth, but in the end Daly put together the winning hand and took home $191,362. The American player claimed the third bracelet of his career. Rios, meanwhile, received $127,528 for second place.
