Santosh Suvarna won his third bracelet and almost $2,000,000
Santosh Suvarna became a three-time World Series of Poker champion. The Indian pro won the $50,000 8-Max High Roller, which drew 167 entries.
In the heads-up, Suvarna defeated Chen "Jack" Lee, who in 2025 won his first bracelet in the $25,000 8-Max High Roller. After an even start, the Indian player began to gradually build his lead. In the final hand, he managed to beat Lee's pocket kings. The South Korean high roller went all-in on the ♦️♣️♦️♣️ turn, and Suvarna called with ♥️♥️. The Indian had bottom pair and a straight draw. However, the river brought the ♠️, and Suvarna made a full house.
"Oh my God, it was like a dream. An eight on the river against kings? I think it's magic," Suvarna said after the win.
