Andrew Shelton became the holder of the biggest bounty at the Mini Mystery Millions event with a $550 buy-in at the World Series of Poker. The American amateur pulled an envelope with a prize of $1,000,000. Before him, 43 players had managed to pull bounty envelopes ranging from $25,000, and the odds of hitting a seven-figure sum were 1 in 8. However, Shelton admitted in an interview that he wasn't nervous, as he was confident in his luck. The amateur also stated that he doesn't plan to grind tournaments with his newfound million, but rather wants to throw a party with friends.

"This win almost doubles my net worth! Some part of me felt that this was my year. I'm not particularly superstitious, but I felt that something special was about to happen.
Playing one World Series of Poker tournament a year is already too much grind for an amateur like me. I'm going to go out and party with friends. Hopefully I survive and don't overdo it. And then I'll figure out what to do next," Shelton said after his win.

In the Mini Mystery Millions tournament itself, Andrew Shelton made the money, finishing in 102nd place and earning $3,350. His career winnings before this event totaled $21,961, and his biggest score was $11,150 for 85th place at a WPT series No-Limit Hold'em tournament.

14 players remain in the fight for the Mini Mystery Millions title. The chip count is led by three-time WSOP champion David Prociak, who has 50 big blinds. He is followed by Alexander Kaviani (39 BB) and Jurgen Pirgu (29 BB).
