Nick Palma was moved by a meeting with a fan

American poker regular Nick "Nicky P" Palma, known for his brash behavior on streams, showed the community his sentimental side. The player shared an emotional story that happened to him during a game.

Palma sat down at a new table, and his neighbor turned out to be an elderly man in a wheelchair, who immediately recognized the player and said with a smile, "Nicky P." When the dealer asked Palma for his ID per protocol, the poker player joked: "Didn't you hear? He just called me Nicky!" The fan immediately confirmed enthusiastically: "It's Nick Palma, it's Nick Palma!"

According to Nick, in that moment he could barely hold back his tears. While he was writing a post about it on social media, the man's wife came up to him and asked to take a photo together, adding that her husband was a devoted poker fan.

"This man really has a bad card in life, but he's here, loving the game and smiling sincerely. He made me smile too. I'm literally holding myself together so I don't burst into tears right there in the room."
